All You Need To Know About My Porcelain Veneers in Bangkok

I did Porcelain Veneers in Bangkok in 2013 and it was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I had enough of hiding behind my deformed front teeth and decided to make a change. Here are some highlights of what I did at Bangkok Smile Dental in Bangkok.

8 Days

That is the number of days I spent in Bangkok for the Porcelain Treatment to be completed properly with a follow up check up (with enough time in between for shopping, eating and touring Bangkok).

Day 1 – Consultation, measurement and preparation for new Porcelain Veneers. You will wear temp veneers and some may even fall off, but don’t worry, you’ll have permanent awesome ones at the next appointment.

Be sure to know the pros and cons of Porcelain Veneers before proceeding!

Day 6 – 5 days (weekends included) is all it takes to custom make your Porcelain Veneers.

Day 8 – It’s advised that you go back again 2 days later for a follow up appointment to check and make sure all’s good with your new Porcelain Veneers! You don’t want to be flying back to your country and then find out something doesn’t feel quite right yeh!

1/3 The Price In Singapore

That’s how much cheaper doing porcelain veneers in Bangkok are!! I was quoted SGD1,500 per tooth for Porcelain Veneers in Singapore, and at Bangkok Smile Dental, I was quoted SGD400 per tooth.

Fillings that are SGD90-100 in Singapore are merely SGD35 in Bangkok.
Laser Whitening are usually SGD1,200 to 1,500 but in Bangkok, it’s less than SGD400!

There are many dental clinics in Bangkok, you can check out the price list of the dental clinic that I went to here.

SGD 3,400

That’s the total amount I spent on my teeth at Bangkok Smile Dental.

1)   Scaling
2)   Laser Whitening
3)   Filling (had a broken one)
4)   Porcelain Veneers on the Upper Teeth X 6
5)   1 pc of Soft Mouth Guard

Total: SGD 3,400. I think it’s pretty good money spent!

      Hi Wynn, you’re most welcomed.

Others are optional. I would recommend the laser whitening to whiten the teeth that are not going to have veneers to make them the same shade as your new veneers (which I assume you’d want to be as white as possible without making it look fake).

Mouth guard is to guard your veneers if you grind your teeth at night. Not necessary I think if you don’t grind your teeth.

Hi! I’ve just been to bkk and in the process of getting veneers too. But after shaving off the teeth am filled with so much regret knowing that this is irreversible and also have to be replaced in some years down the road.
Have you have any trouble eating so far? Or could you share what are the biggest issues you’ve faced with them so far?
    Really appreciate! Thank you

Nope no trouble eating at all and no issues too.
I did feel a bit worried and scared that I got so much of my teeth shaved off but I guess… there’s no turning back now. Before going for veneers, it’s something that everyone should be mentally prepared for. But don’t worry k! You’re going to have wonderful teeth soon.
