It’s been awhile since I shared a personal post about Daniel. I often post photos of our adventures on my Instagram (@ngjuann) instead.
This was taken some time back. We went to Sentosa’s Family Beach – Palawan Beach. It was a lovely afternoon, not sunny at all.
I was more excited than the little fella. He probably didn’t know where we were bringing him till we literally put him on the sand.
We also brought our helper out that day to see Sentosa. She has been a great help and loves Daniel very much. It’s because we have her that I can lead a life much like my life was before we had a child. It’s because of her that we get home cooked meals everyday and Daniel is well taken care of.
Daniel enjoyed himself so much in the sand that he ate some of it. I hope he didn’t but I kinda think he did. He was way too fast for us! One moment he had a fistful of sand and the next, his hand was at his mouth. :O
I really should bring him here more often. The little one loves the sight and rhythm of waves rushing on to the shore, wrapping around his legs and sometimes, knocking him off his feet if it’s strong enough.
The way his little feet slowly disappears under him with every swoosh of the gentle waves fascinates him to no end. He would gaze down at his feet curiously.
Through cherished moments like these, I see my child’s slowly revealing character. He has a desire to explore and enjoy his surroundings. He laughs easily, and enjoys himself wholeheartedly. :)
