Eucerin is no new brand to me. I have used their 3-step skincare regime previously and loved it. Eucerin has came up with new products in their DermoPURIFYER line so I’m back for more reviewing!

While I do not have acne all the time, I do get bad breakouts every now and then and it drives me crazy.
1) Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Active Concentrate (30ml $29.90)

My favourite product! This is a oil-free serum, to be applied after toner, before moisturizer. I love how easily absorbed this product this. It’s texture is gel-like and leaves a matte smooth feeling to my skin. Does not feel sticky at all. Has a tinge of fragrance to it – very pleasant. I definitely need this product to keep my pores from clogging up and subsequently, reduce the appearance of acne. :)

2) Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Active Night Care (50ml $25.90)
Eucerin® DermoPURIFYER Active Night Care provides the skin a continual supply of lactic acid during the night. This ingredient targets and dissolves cornified cells, excess sebum is reduced and the skin is optimally prepared for an effective day care regime.
I use this cream as the last step of my evening skincare routine. Love the matt feeling it gives me after application. It absorbs easily but do note not to apply too much as it will then become too oily. I have this series of little oil seeds, breakouts at my left cheek which has plagued me for weeks now. I am currently using this range to help calm the infected area and it has made quite great progress since I started a couple of days ago! :D
3) Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Hydrating Care (50ml $25.90)
With its sebum-absorbing particles new Eucerin® DermoPURIFYER Hydrating Care visibly refines the skin’s pores, imparting a perfectly matte complexion.
The quick-absorbing and non-greasy formula:
- Reduces oil shine with its mattifying particles
- Regulated the skin’s disrupted functions

- Provides an excellent base for make-up
I use this as the last step of my day skincare routine just before application of makeup. I think the fact that the colour of this cream is in green, the same shade as their brand colour, is so cute. Just like the other 2 products, this works wonderfully for my skin. It helped reduce shine and after applying this, it made my face very smooth and matt – what a great base for make-up! Very good oil control.

Before I end, here’s a word of encouragement to acne sufferers: Blemished skin can look beautiful and healthy again, but never overnight. The more severe the degree of blemished skin, the longer and more intensive the treatment needs to be. That’s why it is important that you don’t get discouraged and have a great degree of perseverance and discipline to achieve a long-term improvement of your skin.
