I bought a Ramen deal from Deal.com.sg some time back. It’s a good deal! $5 for a bowl of collagen ramen from Kyo-Nichi at Marina Square. I’ve never heard of this ramen place before but boy am I happy I got to know of it!!

I had the Char Siew Ramen and the Char Siew Corn Ramen. Both were very very good. Kyo-Nichi Ramen boasts a superb menu that features rich and creamy soups enriched with collagen extracted from pork bones. You can choose your soups to be standard, thick or spicy. I had both of mine in spicy cos I love spicy Ramens!
On the soup broth: It was thick, rich and very, very tasty. I don’t think I have tasted better soup base for Ramen! But then again, I am no ramen-regular, not until after I tasted Kyo-Nichi! I had to stop myself from drinking all the soup!!
On the noodles: The noodles were springy and Q to perfection (just the way I like it). It wasn’t too thin or too thick. It made chewing into it pure heaven!
On the ingredients: The char siew was nice, but what I loved most was the corn in the Char Siew Corn Ramen. Why is it so yummy???
Kyo-Nichi was nominated as one of Singapore’s Top 10 Ramen by The Sunday Times in 2006. I guessed they earned it cos it’s really very good!
I would DEFINITELY go again and pay full price for it! Check out other hungry people’s reviews on this ramen store on hungrygowhere as well!!
