Hello from London!

Hi everyone! I’m in London now! I’m bloody happy to be here and so damn excited to explore the city!

I’m staying at my Uncle’s place in the suburbs. And woah, the houses here are so damn pretty. I shall post a picture later. Every house here seems to have come alive from paintings of little cottages. I very much feel like Mary Poppins dancing around in paintings.

Gosh the houses are amazing. London is a very green city. Everywhere there are so many trees. Apprently it snowed 3 weeks ago and I was hoping it’ll snow again though I doubt so since the leaves have all come out and it’s kinda like the beginning of spring now.

I had chinese food for dinner last night – with my family but I was too shy to take photos haha! Dinner was expensive! Dinner of 4 dishes, rice, a glass of wine and chinese tea cost us £50!

(Disgress: Oh yes! Even the keyboard here is kinda cute! They have this as one of the quick keys – £ and with good reason as well I guess. Haha!)

It’s 9.40am now in the morning and very cold. The sky was bright since 5am this morning! I couldn’t sleep! But I forced myself back since I was eager to be rid of jet lag. Last night after dinner my uncle drove me round town and we passed by the Big Ben, the West Minister Abby, Regent Park, Oxford street, Tower of London, the London Eye, the parliment house, Trafalgar Square… and more! It was all that’s mentioned in travel books and on the monopoly boards! But of all, I loved the Big Ben the most. It’s a beauty. The way the whole building was lit up. Looking at it felt so surreal. I had to pinch myself to be sure I wasn’t dreaming. After all my years of living, I cannot believe I am staring at it myself!

I didn’t take a picture of it yet. Soon though!
