*shy* Erm, so I’ve never done a brazilian wax before but I knew I would definitely try it out at least once in my life. I just didn’t know where, how and when.
So when STRIP kindly invited me to try out their newly launched Strawberry Wax, I terrifiedly (lol, new word) said yes.
I was super nervous when I arrived at STRIP, Raffles City, to “go to the smooth side” with them.
After the consultant briefed me on what’s going to happen and told me not to be shy, I was ushered into a room and was told to lay down. It was awkward at first but the lady who did my wax was really friendly and asked a lot of questions and we had fun talking.
STRIP’s latest Strawberry Wax is a gentle and soothing formula that is perfect for Brazilian Virgins. This pretty pink wax contains Aloe Vera and Chamomile extracts to calm even the most delicate skin. STRIP’s Strawberry Brazilian Wax Treatment is priced at $58.
To be honest, it hurt. This is my VERY first Brazilian wax and… it hurt quite a fair bit!! Like, maybe 7-8/10?! But I went through with it. The consultant even said that there are people who LOVE and CRAVE the peeling off part. GOSH!!
So how a brazilian wax goes is, they will take the warm wax and spread it on a small area around your pubic region. They will then cover it with their hands for awhile for the wax to harden slightly. After that, they will peel the harden wax (which will be like a tape) off and together with all the hair that is trapped underneath in one swift motion. And then, quickly apple slight pressure on the newly hairless part to minimise the pain.
They also gave me their new handy Brazilian Virgin Kit which contains all the essential Post Wax Care: X’ed Out Cream, Ice Cream, Peace Ampoule, Strawberry Body Scrub and Strawberry Body Butter, all housed in the cute lego inspired box. STRIP’s Brazilian Virgin Kit is priced at $25.
All of which will help to reduce redness, and ingrown hair.
So have you tried a brazilian wax before? How was it like?
Promotion:
Till 31 July 2011, STRIP is offering STRIP Brazilian Virgins 30% off their first Brazilian Wax (U.P. $58). On top of that, STRIP Brazilian Virgins get to purchase the Brazilian Virgin Kit at just $15 (U.P. $25)

u’re a brave girl! hehe! I hate to do brazilian waxing for people, and even more hated the idea of people doing brazilian for me.

you tried it before?? :)
i was forced to try bikini waxing(after i furiously rejected a brazilian) during my beauty aestheitcs/waxing class few yrs back. Oh ya, with men and women all looking at me and whoever are the models.
i have tried before!! i love the clean feeling after that and it certainly makes the monthly period affair better! but the ingrown hair part can get pretty irritating.
their new virgin post wax kit sounds like a very good deal!

ingrown hair occurs for both waxing and shaving. i do think shaving causes worst ingrown hair occurrence!
Did you have to get into weird positions when they waxed you? Or do you just lie down and.. open your legs?
