Onward to 3rd Trimester: Week 29

Hello peeps, it’s been awhile since I blogged. I mean, I don’t know how many of you reading this knows what it’s like to juggle a full time demanding job, pregnancy, me-time and a 2 year old toddler but I’m telling you it’s challenging!

It’s not the end of the world of course. There are people who have more on their plate. But you know, each to his own.

I feel so guilty working such long hours so I spend my after-working hours and my weekends with Daniel where possible.

Anyway, the topic today is really to write an update on how’s my pregnancy progressing as we speak. This is me at Week 29.

It’s like magic that my body knows we have entered another trimester because all of a sudden, I’m feeling nauseous (vomitted once!), having bad acid reflux (vomit taste in mouth) and loss of appetite.

IF ANYBODY EVER THOUGHT MORNING SICKNESS ONLY HAPPENS DURING 1ST TRIMESTER AND IN THE MORNING, THINK AGAIN :(

It’s so annoying, except for the loss of appetite. Damn I could lose some weight – am gaining so much weight (7kg till date).

Sidetrack: I gained 11kg for my entire first pregnancy (thankfully I lost it all within 2 months postpartum thanks to my awesome post natal massage and slimming lady at Nouri Face And Body Concepts – must give her due credit & some referral!!).

My gynae is pretty strict about my and my baby’s weight gain so I gotta keep in check. I went for my checkup and had to take my glucose tolerance test. To my relief, I passed with FLYING COLOURS, unlike my borderline fail at my previous pregnancy!! So happy!

Here’s baby 2:

Feeling jolly and all comfy in there I hope. His kicks are getting stronger and he moves really often too. His estimated weight is 1.08kg.

Anyway, besides the morning sickness that subsided within a week, I’m still feeling good, a little big and clumsy but okay still. We’re about to go for our LAST overseas trip before I give birth – going to celebrate CNY in HongKong for the very first time.

I don’t know how I’m going to manage to look hot in front of (my husband’s) relatives but you know, I’m just going to try not to care too much. HONG KONG FOOD, please don’t tempt me!!! Please let me have strength to resist and also to walk a lot! :)
