Dinner @ Indulgz

I’ve been to Indulgz quite many times. It’s my favourite place to go to for no-fuss mid-range food for simple celebrations. =) This is what a friend and I had yesterday. The (in?)famous Fried Camembert Cheese with Berry Sauce. Well, I have never tried this before and I did hear a lot of good feedback about and I decided to give it a chance. $12 for 4 pieces – quite expensive! What I think? It’s salty, the crust is tasteless…

The Atkins Diet – Day 9

Yes my dear friends, I am still alive. I still have not consumed any obvious BAD carbohydrates like rice, noodle, cakes, bread of any sort. I am damn proud of myself. The first few days were TERRIBLE! I had bizarre cravings every second (I still do but more on that later). Pizza with cheese (No thank you to Pizza Hut commercials) at 9pm, Amoy Street Fried Rice at 4pm, Fried Bee Hoon at 10pm, Porridge at 11pm and erm, Muffins…

Romance on Orchard Road

Thank you for injecting Romance on Orchard Road. I gave this Pipa-playing girl some money (A Pipa is a chinese plucked string instrument aka chinese guitar). She made the wonderful, old, classic love songs sound super romantic on a dimly lit night at Orchard. I never pay buskers money but I did to this girl because her music touched my heart.

Pig in Wellies?

See so cute right! I found this article here that is quite an interesting read! Apparently the little cute thing has a phobia of dirt and will run to the farmer to have wellies put on him before he goes to play in the dirt like the other normal piggies. So cute la.

It's a bad omen.

A very bad day. I bought 4D yesterday. I don’t usually buy 4D or partake in the local lottery that we call TOTO/Singapore Sweep. But yesterday, it was a long queue at Singapore Pools and it moved too fast. I would have quit walking towards the outlet if not for my determined friends. I would have quit queuing halfway if not for my persistent friends. So fine. Since the queue moved fast, I decided to try my luck. No harm,…

And then now…

… Saiful says he was poked in the ka-chng in Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong too! I like this image of him. Hints at a double meaning. Hahaha! Like… “BEWARE! I’m watching you! From the back!!” Do I think he did it? Actually I don’t. He seems to be smarter than to indulge in his (if any) pleasure at a time as crucial as this. And reports did mention that the party people working for Anwar suspected Saiful’s a…

KIDZ Walk @ Big Splash

I had fun today! It was honestly unexpected! I left home late and was swearing at the terribly hot weather. When the weather is hot, I take that as a bad omen. It just works this way in my life. So today I attended the KIDZ Walk with NuffNang. I was excited, wondering if I’ll get to mingle with other bloggers and make some new friends in the blogosphere. When I arrived, I only say Cherie, and only Cherie. She…

Crave to Satisfy

Our dinner at Jumbo Seafood @ Serangoon Country Club! From top left to right: Baby Kailan with Garlic Paste, Golden Prawns, Cod Fish, Seafood Paste You Tiao, Scallop wrapped with Yam and erm, the missing picture of the Black Pepper Crab. Baby Kailan with Garlic Paste was really yummy! I really wonder how they cook that! =( Well ’cause I can’t! The Golden Prawns was okay although I thought it was over priced at SGD 20 for 8 prawns! Shannie…
