Tips on Choosing a Preschool for Your Child

Choosing a childcare centre for your child is always a daunting task. I remember being really clueless about the whole process and eventually ended up going with gut feel. Here’s sharing my experience and tips on choosing a preschool for your child. Here’s my little preschooler, Daniel. He’s 2.5 years old now, eager to learn, and always ready for adventure. I love the enthusiasm he has for everything (ok well, except maybe how he hates sleeping). When choosing a childcare…

New Korean Hospital Grade Breastpump – This Is Worth Checking Out

And… the name of the brand is Gaksimil. You probably haven’t heard of it before, well neither have I until I kept seeing it at baby fairs! Exclusively distributed by My Miracle Baby in Singapore, Gaksimil caught my attention when I first saw a demo of it. In a market saturated with many other successful brands, I was interested to see just what this new kid on the block had in it’s pocket. Gaksimil Sense Electric Double Breast Pump You can…

Is A UV Steriliser Really Worth It?

Just upgraded my modest electric steam steriliser to the Haenim UV Steriliser! I used to sterilise my kid’s milk bottles and my breast pump with the usual “traditional” electric steam method. Recently I have been using a more conveniently efficient (IMHO at least) way to sterilise bottles for my baby. Brain Training Enrichment Classes – A Fad Or Does It Really Work?

We’ve been sending our 30 month old child, Daniel, for brain training classes at BrainFit Studios. Daniel has achieved so many new milestones after attending this brain training course, and that’s why I’m writing about it here (and also because don’t know why suddenly brain training is so often discussed amongst my mummy friends now!) BrainFit Baby™ Programme…

Cute Doesn’t Even Begin To Describe These Baby Photos!

Omigawd this just in! Photos from a recent newborn photography shoot taken of Nathen at 1 month old. I was browsing Taobao casually when I saw heaps of newborn photography props and I was so tempted to cart it all and then attempt to DIY my own shoot at home. Thank god I didn’t because what will I do with all those crazy props after the shoot and where will I find time to do the shoot la. I may be…

Kiddylicious Review – wholesome yummy snacks for kids

We just loaded up on snacks for my kid, Daniel. Decided to try out this new brand called Kiddylicious because it brands itself to be a relatively healthier choice for kids. All of the snacks you see here are gluten-free, have no sugar and artificial additives added. Interesting. Let’s give it a taste test. Fruit Wriggles & Wafers Fruit Wriggles are kinda like raisins (dried fruit) but in a longish shape which is interesting to Daniel because he gets to hold them…

Tips On How To Care For Your Babysafe Bedding

Remember how Daniel had his baby cot amped up with Babysafe Latex Bedding? When Baby Nathen came along, I thought we were all set, just dig out, reuse it and we’re good yeh? Unfortunately, when I took out all the Babysafe bedding, I found them all moudly.
