Let The Wedding Preparations Begin!

I’m planning my wedding! And I’m so excited to be sharing my wedding preparation research with you in this new category “Wedding Preparations“. From bridal beauty related articles to planning the big wedding party, follow me on my journey as I prepare for the next big milestone in my life. :)

Now if you’re looking for wedding preparation advice on how to organise a big fat chinese wedding, with heaps of chinese traditions embedded within, you’re at the wrong place because although I am 100% chinese (and so is my husband-to-be), we were both brought up in a “western-heavy” environment… and we’ll really like a wedding that’s different and special. :)

So our dream wedding would be a mix of western and chinese traditions, we envision long tables, western food, and non-big hotel wedding. We want something cozy with a small group of close friends and family.

He’s from Hong Kong and I’m from Malaysia, but here we are, in Singapore, with very few relatives with us. So all we have are close friends and family who can travel to Singapore for our wedding.

First up, I knew I had to look for wedding vendors. It is a mega long list of things to note. Venues, dates, wedding singers, etc….. I have shortlisted a Wedding Designer and some Venues! Will share with you very very soon! :)
