So after my first consultation with Belinda at Yun Nam Hair Care, I’ve gone back for a few sessions. Here’s to share with you my Yun Nam Hair Care treatment review. :) Know before you spend! :) My Yun Nam Hair Care treatment plan is a series of weekly treatments that will alternate between cleansing and regrowth. It will be a total of 10 sessions and I will need to compliment it with the hair products for home use. Check out my previous review on how the cleansing treatment is like.
Yun Nam Hair Care treatment review
On my second appointment, I took up a 7.30pm slot on a weekday and did the regrowth treatment. It started off with a good hair wash before Belinda put a special concoction of ginseng, red dates, dang sheng, amidst other herbs that works collectively to eliminate oil and provide nutrients to your hair roots, scalp and baby hair. This herbal formulation is unique to Yun Nam Hair Care.
The herb paste is applied to my scalp bit by bit all over my head and then steamed for 15 mins to enhance absorption of all it’s benefits.
I have also been using all the haircare products that Belinda asked me to use at home. Here’s sharing my home care procedure.
I have 2 shampoos and 1 conditioner. Because my scalp is a mixture of oily and dry, I have the Herbology Ginseng Shampoo that’s suitable for oily scalp and another one that is suitable for dry scalp. Belinda advised that I alternate between the two everyday.
In addition to the shampoos, every other day, I will add the Hair Renewal and Hair Cleansing Lotions to my shampoo and massage it into my scalp for 5 minutes before rinsing off.
Belinda has advised that I change my shampoo’ing habits because my usual hair wash routine is really quite fast. Just wash and rinse. She advised that I need to massage my scalp so that my scalp can be thoroughly cleansed.
Look at the satisfying lather I have worked up on my scalp. :D
After rinsing, I’ll use the Refreshing Apple Conditioner for my hair ends and rinse off shortly after. Before drying my hair, I will spray the Hair Nutrition Lotion 3 onto my scalp where I have less hair and give it a good rub so that it gets absorbed in.
Can you see all my baby hair growing out well and looking quite “thick” too? :) Here’s a scan comparison to show you what my scalp was like on Day 1 and what my scalp is like now after 4 sessions.
