The ULTIMATE FASHION DISASTER!

Not that I am any fashionista to begin with, but coming from a super couldn’t-care-less-about-matching-shoes-and-bag kind of girl, and I call this the ULTIMATE Fashion Disaster, then believe me, it is SO.

Yes. I walked round Orchard Road for 4 hours in that.

No, I didn’t get too hungry and decide to make food out of my shoe.

What did happen was I was feeling mischievous as usual – KENOT stand properly on escalators. I wanted to see if I could stand with my toes bent upwards (leaning on the higher “step”) all the way up the escalator.

My favourite ballet Crocs are made of rubber’ish material and of course it got caught when the escalators leveled up to let passengers off at the top of the escalator. Sigh.

What an embarrassment!!! The tip of my shoe got stuck and I was shoeless, hopping about for like 2 seconds before I went against the crowd and plucked (yes, literally) my poor shoe from the escalator jaws.

A “pluck” sound was emitted.

I knew my shoe was dead. I just didn’t know the damage till I peeked at it while I was quickly walking away from the “accident” scene.

Horrors.

And I went to Mango sale (Yes started already! Quick go!), Wisma, Forever 21 and all the shops along Orchard Road and I passed by like thousands of people.

I don’t believe I have ever wished my jeans to be longer or wished to disappear in nothingness more in my life than at that point in my life!

Even Isetan refused to sell me new Crocs. =(

Ok… go on… laugh. =(

P.s: Oh re the Mango Sale, on 2nd thoughts, I think better to wait a week or so for their “FURTHER REDUCTIONS!”. Now 50% off, 1 week later 70% off. I am so lemming for a white dress I saw!
P.p.s.: Ok fine. On second thoughts I should probably count myself lucky that I still have my toes intact. =/
P.p.p.s: I am so going to get another pair. *determined!*
