Wedding Decoration: The Day We Got Married…

…our wedding venue was transformed into a dream. We engaged Hellen (my wedding designer from Rosette Design & Co) to create our dream pinterest-worthy wedding and the wedding decoration job she did was superb! This is a super delayed post but I hope you enjoy reading anyhoo! :)

Here’s sharing heaps of photos of our actual day wedding decoration. :) Everything you see are designed by my wedding designer except for the flowers. The flowers were from the hotel.

Our Vision: We wanted a dreamy wedding with bold tunes to it. We call this the “Our Modern Romantic Dream”. We settled on having Fuchsia Pink, White and Grey as the three main colours. You’ll see that this colour scheme will be consistent throughout.

“Our Modern Romantic Dream” can mean a lot of things to different people. To us, it meant fairy lights, feathers, elegant mixed tastefully with bold colours and romance everywhere.

These huge feathers were sourced by Hellen (I have no idea where she got it from but she’s super resourceful!). They tower above our guests’ meals and beautifully marks the 4 VIP tables I had during the wedding.

I also had Hellen design table names for every one of the 10 tables. We didn’t want to call it Table 1 to 10. We wanted romance so we thought of “Key Words” that contribute to a successful marriage and used those as the table names. Here’s how Hellen executed them:

Love the frames she got. I have no idea where she got them from but they were a nice, subtle touch. The other non-VIP tables got a pink or black frame which was pretty as well.

Here’s the wedding table layout she created for us. We displayed this beside the reception.

We decided to add that special quote “All Because Two People Fell In Love” on top of this table plan to up the romance factor. :)

Our non-VIP tables were beautifully elegant as well. Check out the table decorated with white roses and tea lights. The goldfish table cloth was from the hotel, and Hellen upped the glam factor with pink runners.

Because we served a Western Cuisine, our guests had a choice of choosing BEEF or FISH for their main dish. It definitely made the RSVPs a lot more challenging but we really wanted this wedding to be special and unique to our character. So western it was. We had little fish/beef cards which Hellen produced for us so that guests could pick up their cards at the reception and then place it at their seat so that the waiters may know what they ordered.

To keep our guests occupied, and also for us to bring home a memo of sorts, we had a wishing card designed and placed on everybody’s seat too. This is how the wishing card looked like:

Not everybody participated but we thank those who did. :)

On the stage we had 2 trees of beautiful fairy lights which Hellen created.

Again, don’t ask me where Hellen got it from. She just did. And it made the place dreamy. :)

I just wanted to thank Hellen and her team for the wonderful wedding decoration job she did and also taking all these photos while I was busy getting married. Haha! Hellen’s cost as a wedding designer is not much and she does really take away a lot of the nitty gritty for you. From wedding theme, wedding invites, to posters, to menu, wedding photo booth backdrop, to the little details, Hellen has the experience to guide you and ensure you don’t spend too much time going crazy. Haha!

Thank you Rosette Design & Co for the wonderful wedding decoration!!
