It was a leisurely Saturday afternoon, after MadAboutJu.com finished our photoshoot, I headed over to Orchard Central to have tea with a couple of bloggers at this posh looking Italian Bistro at Orchard Central.
Carrie was there already by the time I arrived. We shared lovely tea with kickass names like Grandma Tea and Sunset.. I liked my Ginseng Honey Green Tea!
The high tea set that I enjoyed on comes with 4 cakes and pastries, together with a pot of tea from Covelli’s extensive menu of teas. This high tea set is priced at $9.90++, and runs from 3pm – 6pm on weekdays and 12pm to 6pm on weekends.
The cakes and pastries differ day to day, depending on the Chef’s special as well as what’s available on that day!
Here were some of the cakes we had. Carrie reached for the Strawbie one first and I reached for Choco. No surprise there.
The place was really quiet and perfect for lovely afternoon tea and conversations between girlfriends and lovers.
They have this lovely stonewall and a dim and cozy ambience.
