Foodpanda.sg Review

I’m sure everyone has heard of Foodpanda, the 24h food delivery service in Singapore. I am always choosing the easy way of ordering food – KFC, MCDs or Pizza Hut. But Foodpanda opens up such a wide variety of restaurants for delivery!! There’s Pastamania, Kebab and curries, Khansama Tandoori restaurant, Banana leaf, Sakae Sushi delivery, Nihon Mura, What to eat, Sakunthala, Sarpinos Tampines, Copper Chimney, The Yangs, The Orange Lantern, BarBQ Tonight, Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, Veganburg, Hui Wei, Brinda´s,…

Medzs at Orchard Central

MEDZS is quite like Marche, except it offers Mediterranean food. Located at the Basement 2 level of Orchard Central, it makes for a great place to meet  & chillwith friends. I was here once before on a Friday evening at 7.30pm and the queue was long. :( I waited for about 30 mins before we were showed into the waiting area and another 15 mins before we got our table. It didn’t feel that long though cos thankfully we were…

Great Food in San Francisco

I don’t know about you but the last thing I expected from San Francisco was very very good food. Here’s what I ate during my trip and what you must try! Sotto Mare (552 Green Street at the intersection of Columbus Ave & Stockton Ave) Known for its best Cioppino in San Francisco. Crazily reviewed on Yelp too. I went and ordered the Cioppino (USD 38 – portion big enough for 2 and it was EASILY the BEST MEAL I…

Lovely San Francisco in 4 days

I didn’t have much time and wanted to cover as much of South America as I could. Turns out it was quite a rush but with better advanced planning it isn’t impossible. I was at San Francisco recently for 3D2N and it turned out to be a great trip. I flew in from Vegas via United Airlines. Flight was prompt and all but had to pay USD 25 for baggage (cost wasn’t included in air ticket). If you have carry…

Makan at Nihon Mura 日本村 (The Cathay)

To sum up my experience at this little Jap restro tucked away at The Cathay’s basement, I would say…. it’s safe to give it a miss. It used to be known as the 99cent a plate sushi but the prices have gone up slightly which is not a bad thing but their customer service was just. plain. BAD. The waitresses kept going around clearing tables and looking very disgruntled in general. I didn’t like the layout of the restaurant at…

Orchid Hotel Ramen: Keisuke Tonkotsu King

Keisuke Tonkotsu King at Orchid Hotel (Tanjong Pagar) is what I would really label as one of the best ramen places in Singapore. A small ramen shop, often overcrowded with long queues, Keisuke Tonkotsu King serves only pork based soups with three varieties to choose from – spicy, black pepper and regular. Note: Like all the good ramen shops, this is not a place to chill or have a chat after your meal. This is a “eat and run” place.…

Genting Highlands Food: 126 Restaurant

So we were on our way up to Genting Highlands for a one day getaway (from the crazy heat in KL) and boy we were looking forward to some great food along the way! We’ve heard a lot about this restaurant called 126 Restaurant at Bukit Tinggi and decided to go give it a try. For those of you who are like my grandma who loves buying fresh fruits and vegetables (so do I, omg I think I got it…
