Ritz Carlton Singapore Staycation Review

I brought my little family (husband and baby Daniel) to The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore for a one night stay recently and boy were we blown off our feet with the experience. From the time we got off the cab, there was a staff who quickly took our bags and greeted us warmly. As we made our way to the reception, he has already pointed out to us where breakfast is, where’s the pool and the level that we are currently…

Sponsored Video: Belong Anywhere with Airbnb

When we travel, the world around us gets smaller. Friendships are made on the fly, landscapes are explored, and new experiences are found around every corner. And when you stay in an airbnb listing, this small world feeling is amplified immeasurably. Travelling with airbnb is all about possibilities and adventure. It’s never about a hotel room anywhere in the world. They recently released a lovely lovely video that takes you on a magical train ride through a beautiful handmade world…

Our Great Greek Islands Cruise with Louis Olympia – Mykonos

We joined a tour package with Dynasty Travel from Singapore that included this cruise. What a great choice it was for us because it allowed us to see the lovely Mediterranean & Aegean Sea and the picturesque greek islands in the shortest and most efficient way possible. On our 5 day Greek Island and Turkey Cruise itinerary with Louis Olympia, we departed from Athens, Piraeus and visited a total of 6 islands – Mykonos, Kudasasi, Patmos, Crete, Rhodes and Santorini.…

What I did in Las Vegas

I was there for 7d6n for the annual CES show. It was my first (and I hope it’s not the last) time ever to the United States, to Las Vegas, and to the CES show! 7 days is a lot of time in Vegas but really, the place hardly tires you out (besides the jetlag). I stayed out till midnight most nights and I did not even party. I did casino hopping, shopping, eating, watching shows and at the convention…

Great Food in San Francisco

I don’t know about you but the last thing I expected from San Francisco was very very good food. Here’s what I ate during my trip and what you must try! Sotto Mare (552 Green Street at the intersection of Columbus Ave & Stockton Ave) Known for its best Cioppino in San Francisco. Crazily reviewed on Yelp too. I went and ordered the Cioppino (USD 38 – portion big enough for 2 and it was EASILY the BEST MEAL I…

Visiting the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas

Grand Canyon was breathtaking and such a great spot for photos. I overpaid for this at a booth in Luxor Hotel at USD185 (expect to pay about USD120 for this) but well lesson learnt. :) Buy from “Tiks4tonight” booths along the Strip! I went for the Comedy on Deck tour with Robert as my guide. There were less than 30 people onboard and we set off at 6.30am. Sounds like early but I was jetlagged so it was fine. :p…

Chilly Pan Mee – a MUST TRY in KL!

Discovered a new dish during my recent trip home to Kuala Lumpur. It’s called Chilly Pan Mee and it’s super damn nice! Forget everything you knew about the “Ban Mian” we know in Singapore. This is THE CHILLY PAN MEE – with noodles textured like ramen, a poached egg, minced meat and as much chilli flakes as you want to add. And then you mix it all up! I don’t really like Ban Mian in Singapore, in fact I don’t…
