From the title, different people from different walks of life will probably already assume that this blogpost is going to head towards a certain direction. But well, read on.
So today at work, the chief programmer and I were at it again, going through the boring flows and things that go wrong in an iPhone app that we are creating. And then this conversation took place:
Me: “Ok I am going to send you a powerpoint that indicates all the changes I want ok?”
Him: “Sure. Don’t forget to add in colours and decorate the ppt. It makes my day.”
Me: “Sure. Shall I put my photo in there as well with speech bubbles indicating the changes I need?”
Him: “Oh ya, put in pretty girl pictures too!”
Him: “Oh wait, did I say pretty girl? I don’t think you can put your photo in there then.”
Me: “@$^(#@&$@(#$@”
So the front page of next brief I sent him, looked hilariously like this:
The inside had a variety of cute japanese girl pictures with different expressions depending on the extend of the revisions I needed him to make.
As if to prove that sex sells, the changes mentioned in this deck came back done pretty quickly. LOL. Little itty bitty things that make our day-to-day agency life a little happier, and a little less gloomy (in the midst of the deadlines).
Needless to say, it helps to have colleagues with humour.
