(Review) Estee Lauder – Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator

I hate uneven skintone and it bothers me. Especially the areas around my nose, lips, and the cheeks where there are dullness, blotchiness and old scars. I can use good makeup to help cover it all but at the end of the day, with my makeup removed and my bare face’s staring back at me in the mirror, the truth prevails.

I often wondered if there is really a product that will help to even out skintone. Recently, through MyFatPocket, Estee Lauder gave me their new Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator to give it a try.

You’d WANT to be interested because they have done tests to show that in just 2 weeks, 62% of women showed significantly more even, translucent skin.

There are noticeable improvements (reduced uneven skintone) to my skin over the past 1 week of continued usage. In fact, I kinda forgot I was using this one of the days I was scrutinizing my face just before sleep, and I was touching my face and wondered why it looked more even. I thought it was probably because of more sleep I got the night before but then the next day I realised it was due to this superb new product!

Once you apply it, there are very micro gold specs which help to reflect light and create natural looking radiance with the Triple-Optic technology.

I love the scent too. It is the signature Idealist Scent (and smells very atas!). It’s very soothing with it’s floral notes to it.

Well, seeing it believing. I loved the instant results this product promised and delivered. And honestly? I’d pay $150 for the 50ml bottle once I’m done with this.

My verdict? Love it.
