My Post Natal Weight Loss Journey

Today I am 11 weeks post natal, time to talk about my post natal weight loss journey. It’s been really awesome past 11 weeks. From a world of just the husband and I, we have welcomed baby Daniel into our lives.

Suddenly we have baby coughing, cooing, sneezing and crying sounds in the house. And suddenly, Peter and I found ourselves with more room in our hearts to love our child. More than we ever thought we could love another being.

During my pregnancy, all I could think of was my diet (due to my condition) and my weight gain. I gained 11kg during my pregnancy. Baby Daniel was born 2.89kg. So, that makes about 8kg of weight gained from everything else. While I loved having Daniel grow in my tummy, I couldn’t ignore the changes in my body…

My arms, my butt, my thighs, my tummy, my breasts, all grew bigger. I think the only things that didn’t expand were my wrist, fingers, calves, and ankle. Even my feet were swollen at some point.

Was I afraid I’ll never go back to what I was before? Hell yeh.

Even as the post natal weight loss lady I booked myself with told me she is confident that I will be able to go back to what I was before, I was doubtful. I had unsightly fatty bulges everywhere.

After I was discharged from the hospital, day 3, my brother saw me and asked why is my tummy still so big like I’m still pregnant. :/ I told him it takes time but really, I wondered how much time is needed.

Today, 10 weeks later, here’s how I look like:

Post Natal Weight Loss

I have Valerie from Nouri Face & Body Concepts to thank. I booked myself a 15 day post natal weight loss package with her and this is the result (of course I also ate only VERY healthy food during my confinement and thereafter as well).

Read all about the process and how much it costs here.

I won’t lie to you and say that the post natal weight loss treatment was super relaxing. It wasn’t. But who said beauty is painless? If I wanted a relaxing massage, I would have gone to a usual massage parlour. No sire, Valerie means business. People who go to her want to lose weight and get back in shape.

See the bruises I got in the process of the post natal weight loss treatment.

Don’t be alarmed though. Brusies are signs of fats breaking down. And when I peed, I had oil in them. That’s the fat that’s being excreted from my body too.

To be honest, I was happy with what I was within 10 sessions but the 5 more really made it so much better. Till date I am still wrapping my tummy with Valerie’s special Sexy Mum Cream. This is a fat-burning cream that Valerie formulated herself. She used this to rub all over my body throughout the 15 sessions and I also rubbed this on my tummy before doing the slimming wrap on days she wasn’t around.

Nouri Face and Body

Ladies, this cream is SUPER SPICY. After about 2 mins of application, it has a warming effect which helps to break down cellulite and burn fats. Totally just what I need. ^^

I have finished my 15 sessions with her and I am very happy with my progress. :) I still have a little tummy bulge which I am treating with Tummy Tone Treatment with Valerie. :)

This price of this post natal weight loss treatment can be found here. No hidden transport charges too. Is it more expensive than other post natal massage like Jamu Massages and all? Yes. But is it effective? YES! So I think it’s worth it. :)

Oh yes and, Valerie is having a special deal for her prenatal massages, so just mention my name when you make an appointment. Do try her out for prenatal massage so that you can gauge how good she is for yourself. You will also able to find out more about the post natal weight loss treatment :)
