We need to support environmentally conscious brands. Little efforts/decision like these will collectively help towards saving the environment.
During Earth Month, Origins Singapore will plant a tree through Global ReLeaf in honor of each customer who purchases Plantscription Anti-aging serum. The key ingredient in this serum is the Anogeissus Tree found in The Republic of Ghana. When Origins harvests Anogeissus, it is done to ensure sustainability and not damage the tree. It is taken from pruned branches or directly from the bark of the tree without stripping it.
During the Media Event, Origins partnered with All Things Green and Beautiful(www.facebook.com/allthingsgreenandbeautiful) a company that manufactures lovely new items from used leather products, to have all new brooches made for us bloggers from Origins’ product packaging.
At the Origins counter at Shaw Isetan, they have a little bin to collect all empty beauty product packagings and passes it along to a recycler for all these to be recycled properly.
Just like how you and I can do little things like use less air con, and drive less, little things that brands big and small do can all make a difference to the environment.

Origins launched the Origins Earth Initiative to aid reforestation projects globally. In partnership with the American Forests Global ReLeaf Program, Origins Earth Initiative will plant thousands of trees around the world to create new forests, as well as refurnish existing forests in need. By planting trees around the world, Origins help to restore areas damaged by wildfire, where critical wildlife habitat has been lost, and clean out air and water.
