Have I mentioned I love baking and cooking? :)

Well, I’ve always loved baking since young… ok fine, I admit, since I had those “Home Economics” class in secondary school. The things to taught in these classes revolved around, yes, you guessed it, cooking and baking.
I didn’t take to cooking till a couple of months back only. Ever since I started staying in Singapore, I haven’t been baking much – no big oven :( . Well that’s not going to deter my enthusiasm!
Recently I started again and I decided to share recipes! :D
Let’s begin with a sweet dessert – Oreo Cheesecake

Ingredients:

[For filling]
– 2 packet Philadelphia Whipped cream cheese
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 SCS butter block (the smallest pack)
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 110gms (2 small bars) of Cadbury Chocolate
– 9 pcs Oreo biscuit
[For the base of the cheesecake]
– 6 pcs digestive biscuit
– Container (3 in 1 pack of aluminium circle tray will do)
– 10 teaspoons of melted butter
*For the easier way out, go to Cold Storage and just buy the ready made crust. About $5.
Instructions:
[The Base]
1. Crush the digestive biscuits into bits
2. Melt some butter
3. Prepare the tray
4. Lay the digestive biscuit bits onto the tray until it covers the entire tray, about 1 – 2 cm thick
5. Use a spoon and add bit by bit of melted butter onto the biscuit and press using the back of the spoon. Press hard for it to stick better
6. Make sure the crust is thick and covers the bottom of the tray fully
7. Freeze it till you need it again.
[The Filling]
1. Put the whipped cheese, eggs, 1 tablespoon of sugar and the butter into the bowl and beat evenly
2. Melt chocolate bar and add them into the mix
3. Crush the Oreo cookies into small bits and add them into the mix and it’s READY!
4. Pour the ready mix onto the crust.
5. Sprinkle Oreo Bits on top! It’ll look all the more yummier! :)
6. Wrap the tray with film wrap and put into the fridge for around 8 hours and Serve!! *Do not freeze it.
