I’ve always been contemplating eyebrow embroidery and finally I took the leap and did it at Erabelle! :O The results are so good that I am here typing up this review to share with you as soon as I can! :) This is how my brows looked before I did it.
I chose to do eyebrow embroidery because I have very sparse eyebrows and I am kinda sick of spending 10mins drawing my eyebrow everyday.
And then 3 days ago, I went to Erabelle and did their Erabrowlogy service.
Erabrowlogy is a more holistic brow service (as compared to Erabrow) with a pre-treatment step and boosted aftercare routine, to give beautiful and natural-looking brows that frame the face with enhanced colour retention. The effect is expected to last from 2 to 3 years with the full course of treatment and proper care.
Then using specialized Softstroke technique and Erabelle’s micropen, colours are applied just below the epidermis of skin to enhance facial beauty, simulating the look of perfectly-drawn brows while minimizing discomfort to the skin.

So here’s how the procedure’s like:
Step 1: Brow Preparation
A brow mask will be applied onto the brow area that removes dead skin cells and excess sebum, whilst hydrating the skin. This is especially advantageous for those with oily or dry skin, as unhealthy skin condition is a factor contributing to colour retention.
Step 2: Erabrow Design
Customisation design process includes face shape and eyebrow analysis, designing, trimming and tweezing. Creation of the perfect arch will then be done with Erabelle Long-Lasting Brow Pencil where shade is chosen accordingly to suit skin tone and hair colour.
This is one of the reasons why Erabelle is my choice for eyebrow embroidery. Their eyebrow design is EXCELLENT. I’ve seen them at roadshows and seen their staff at work. It’s very very good.
The artist has to consider 5 aspects when designing brows:
i. Length of the brows
ii. Thickness of the brows
– Distance between brows and the eyes
– Size of the eyes
– Size of the face
– Body frame
iii. Shape and tip of the brow arch
iv. Starting point of the brows need to be light and natural-looking
v. Ending point of the brows need to be complete
A lot of people want korean brows that are straight and thick. So did I! I thought eyebrow embroidery would finally give me the brows I want but their eyebrow artist said I have a heart shape face and I do need a little arch in my brows to lift up my face and make me look more alert.
Korean brows are best for people with very small faces and sharp features. :)
Don’t worry, they’ll only proceed when you agree to the eyebrow shape.
Step 3: Patch Test
A patch test is done behind your ear before procedure to test for any allergy to the certified colour pigment used.
Step 4: Preparation of Equipment
New Micropen tips and colour caps are used for every customer to ensure that strict hygiene standards are observed.

Step 5: Application of Colour
The Softstroke technique used coupled with topical numbing cream and micropen seeks to induce an experience of minimal discomfort.

All I can say is, if I can selfie videos like those above myself while the lady was doing my eyebrows, it is really painless. I nearly fell asleep because there was a very soothing vibrating sound emitted by the needle.

Here’s me without makeup after a facial… I look like I have makeup on! That’s how important your eyebrows are to your face. :)
