WATCH IT!!
Yes. That’s my verdict. It’s quite interesting in many ways. I wouldn’t reveal too many spoilers here.
THE THING is a thriller movie directed by Matthijs van Heijningen. It is a is a prelude to John Carpenter’s classic 1982 film of the same name. And guess what?! I did watch the sequel to this show which is about how the thing was transmitted from the escaped dog back to humans (okay maybe revealing too much)! I was wondering how come the whole show was so familiar in some parts but it all still remained very entertaining.
Watch this in cinemas and then go find the sequel to watch! I’d watch both again any time :)
This prequel is written by Ronald D. Moore (best known for his Star Trek and Battlestar Galatica series) and Eric Heisserer who has wrote the recent Final Destination 5 and the reboot of The Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) who is the main lead of this show did an awesome job of looking all sexy and being the smart, brave and decisive character in the show. Check her out here:
Synopsis:
