We started with some juices. Pretty standard. :)

Check out the spread we had! It was soooooo filling!

So first up, here’s the curry Rice Surprise. Isn’t Charly T’s interesting. They have western and then they serve up some good curry too! This was really decent!

Also item from their set lunch menu, the CT’s Beef Burger is a really good deal for $8.50+ and comes with a drink too. It’s going to sound weird but I love how nicely toasted the buns were. The beef was at a good sized thickness which made the whole burger eating experience all that more perfect. I would come back for this!

I was expecting a messy hotdog when I ordered Sloppy Joe. What I got was still a mess but it was such a yummy mess. The melted cheese came melted! The slightly charred corner only enhanced its texture. The bread was toasted to perfection (IMHO). On a normal basis, I wouldn’t eat or order this cos it’s too fattening for me. The BF loved it though.

You need to also meet the usual favourites from the a la carte menu:

– Original Rotisserie Chicken (Half chicken with 2 additions at $24+)
– Garlic Rotisserie Chicken* (Half chicken with 2 additions at $26+)
– Jumbo Schnitzel Burger ($18+)

The chicken are served with the following sides:
– Steamed Fresh Vegetables
– Butter Garlic Rice
– German Potato Salad
– Macaroni and Cheese (uses a recipe from award-winning Chef Rozanne Gold’s “Eat Fresh Food” cookbook which contains less cheese and includes fresh cauliflower)

*Seasonal flavour

The famous Rotisserie Chicken and the awesome sides. Writing this makes me wanne cook macaroni for dinner soon!! :) The pic above shows Charly T’s Original Rotisserie Chicken. You can taste that this was prepared with care. The marinate didn’t just stay on the skin. It penetrated the meat too and made it tender and very very nice.

This is the Garlic Rotisserie Chicken! Look at the shine. It was cooked to perfection. Juice and the skin was very flavourful! :)

Jumbo Schnitzel Burger was oo la la. When it came to our table, it looked humongous!! I only took a small bite of it as I usually avoid deep fried stuff. The BF was a fan of this too though!

We were full by now but it was good we managed to find space to share desserts – cos they had some pretty interesting ones!

– Bacon and Cheese Filled Waffles ($8+) with Vanilla Ice-cream ($4+)
– Kaiserchmarrn ($16+) with Vanilla Ice-cream ($4+)

This is Bacon & Cheese waffle my friends. Biting into the freshly made (and still warm) waffle with some ice cream on top… it’s like putting a savoury & sweet taste into your mouth and the combination tingles! :) You should try if you’ve never tried something like this before. Me? I still prefer the traditional sweet, chocolately desserts. :)

The Kaiserchmarrn ($16+) with Vanilla Ice-cream ($4+) is essentially are mashed up pancakes with maple syrup sprinkled all over. I love this! :) I hate pancakes but when they serve it this way, it’s quite yummy! :)

Overall, Charly T’s surprised me with the quality and variety of it’s food. I always pass by this place whenever I walk between The Cathay & Plaza Singapura but never once did I ever stop in. Now that I’ve tried it and I know it serves pretty good stuff, it’ll be likely I’ll pop in next time I pass by! :)
