National Gallery Singapore presents Children’s Festival: Small Big Dreamers. This June holiday activity features interactive installations that teach children about values, passion, confidence and creativity. Through experiential art and active play, children will learn about themselves and the world around them.

The RopeScape @ Frasers Property Malls (RECOMMENDED)

The malls of Frasers Property Singapore are launching The RopeScape, Singapore’s largest crochet rope playground, a combination of individual nylon ropes crocheted by hand to form a 10m by 7m structure for children to play in.

It will be set up at seven malls of Frasers Property Singapore from May 29 to July 1.

Allow the creativity in your kids soar as they make their very own dinosaurs out of paper plates. Parents can look forward to seeing the dinosaurs of your kid’s imagination come alive!

  • LIVE Sesame Street Show and meet-and-greet sessions for fans to meet the characters.

For the first time in Singapore, sing and dance along with your favourite Sesame Street characters Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, Abby Cadabby, and Count von Count as they unravel a mystery package from Count von Count’s family in Romania. It features seven iconic landmarks which visitors can take pictures with along with 3D Sesame Street characters in traditional European clothes.

Kids Club members can still come down to join in the excitement at the Nerf Nation Games during the “Game for the Challenge” free play sessions from 8 – 17 June between 1pm – 7pm on weekdays and 1pm – 3pm on weekends and public holiday. Your physical fitness and shooting skills will be put to the test as you overcome various obstacles such as the Net Crawl, Balancing Beam and Cup Crusher.

To participate, Kids Club members have to register on–site to secure a slot for one of the game sessions. Complete all seven stations in the challenge arena within 20 minutes to receive a limited edition Punch Buddies stationery set and notebooks (members below 6 years old only need to complete 5 stations). Each game session is 20 minutes long and is limited to 50 kids. Non-VivoCity Kids Club members can also gain access to the challenge arena by spending a minimum of $50 in a single receipt from the Toys ‘R’ Us retail pop-up booth located at VivoCity Outdoor Plaza.

Istana Open House (ended)

Other visitors are required to pay an entrance fee of $2 per person.

There will be a variety of performances on the grounds during the Open House. For an entrance fee of $2, visitors could tour selected function rooms in the Istana building and view a special display of gifts presented to the President and the Prime Minister. There are also guided tours of the Istana building, conducted by the Preservation of Sites and Monuments (PSM) volunteers. Istana souvenirs are also sold at the Open House. All proceeds from the sale of the souvenirs and the entrance fees collected are donated to charity.

The Police Heritage Centre is proud to host the Children’s Season in June this year! This 1.5 hour outreach programme is targeted at young children (3 to 12 years old) and their families. Visitors can learn more about the Police Force through a guided tour, and a talk by real-life police officers from the Community Policing Unit! They can also participate in interesting activities such as badge making and writing a message to the policeman.
