I lost 19cm post-pregnancy with BottomSlim

This is not the usual run of the mill review of a one time trial at a slimming center. I’ve done those before. This is an honest review of my experience at BottomSlim after undergoing more than 15 hours of treatments spread over 10 visits completed within 1 month. This was much earlier this year and I thought I’ll share my experience I had with them.

BottomSlim is the first and only slimming salon in Singapore that focuses exclusively on helping women shape up, slim down and firm up the bottom half of your body. 

After giving birth in December 2013, I have a lot of flab and loose skin all over. My weight went back to what it was before within 2 months after but I desperately needed firming and targeted fat reduction. My tummy was falling out from my jeans and my thighs were jiggly from the back. T_T. While my weight went back, I looked huge still.

This was taken at Daniel’s one month party. I lost SO much already thanks to my post natal treatment with Nouri Face and Beauty Concepts. Valerie helped me lose all the 12kg I put on after pregnancy but I had to lose inches off everywhere. AND THE FLAB!

But I definitely have so much work to do. :( Compared to my friends, I still looked plump. I was due back to work within 3 months after giving birth and I wanted to lose as much as possible asap. I decided to check out BottomSlim and see how they could help me. My 10 sessions were an interesting mix of all the machines/treatments that BottomSlim provides and boy do they have ALOT of them! I guess that’s one of the best things about visiting a professional slimming centre – they are armed with the latest machines, techniques and technology which means they can vary your treatment plan according to your body needs and goals.

I was visiting their outlet at Citysquare Mall about 2 times a week back then. They are well staffed and are always able to accommodate last minute bookings almost 90% of the time! For someone whose schedule is as busy and unpredictable as mine, this is a key consideration factor. I have signed up packages at places where appointments has to be made a month in advance! How crazy is that.

Needless to say, I was never able to keep to a consistent schedule or go often enough to see results. They also allow appointments slots as late as 730pm on a weekday and that suits me well. Any earlier and I wouldn’t be able to make it.

The lady who does all my treatment, Joanne, is very serviced oriented and passionate about her job. Do ask for her if you are planning to go for a trial. She is very experienced and is also the key person who has helped me lose an amazing total of 19cm off my body. That’s right, I am 19cm trimmer.

I refrained from reviewing BottomSlim till I had results to show. And we only measured after 10 sessions and it was an awesome surprise for me too! I felt the difference but I thought maybe I was just “wanting” this too much or perhaps I was just telling myself I could perhaps snack.

I didn’t measure till Joanne did it for me. I am truly converted to be more inclined towards slimming centres! Throughout the past 1 month, my diet remained the same. I ate as I wished with the occasional indulgence. My lifestyle was pretty much the same as before – it was still impossible to find time to work out between work and spending time with baby Daniel.

19cm – that is pretty impressive BottomSlim.

Do stay tuned because I can’t wait to share with you some of the treatments I underwent (visible lifting and firming results within 1 treatment?!) and the amazing massage that helped me lose 2kg within a week – that’s a lot considering how stubborn my weight usually is. I am super happy with the way I look now and stay tuned as I give another update once I finish 20 sessions (which is soon!). Let’s see how much more I can lose! I definitely think I look better than I did BEFORE I got pregnant. Amazing.
