Hydra B5 Soother Review

Here’s a new product I recently got introduced to. The Hydra B5 Soother is a hydration serum, great for dehydrated skin.

You know what happens when your skin is not adequately hydrated! Skin tone becomes dull and wrinkles start to form. So if you have dehydrated skin, listen up here!

Since I haven’t heard of this brand, I did some research on it and found that there are people who swear by this product. People who love how it improves their skin. This isn’t a mass market brand that retails in places like Watsons or Guardian. It is a brand that are sold mostly by Korean Aesthetic Doctors. Local clinics are selling it too for S$158 per bottle.

Now Aesthetic Hydration, the newly appointed exclusive distributor  of Aesthetics Hydration Cosmetics (AHC) in both Singapore and Malaysia, has brought it into Singapore and making it easily available for everyone! They also have a Qoo10 store here

The Hydra B5 Soother has two main functions:

♥ Skin moisturising:
Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) works as an irreplaceable water-binding agent, helping the maintenance of soft yet firm skin with enhanced flexibility. Hyaluronic Acid, nature-oriented moisturizer, replenishes skin with a plentiful amount of moisture and activates its turnover cycle to bring out a soft and refined texture.

♥ Skin Soothing:
This mild yet powerful formula, extracted from portulaca oleracea and kava kava (piper methysticum), provides intense conditioning for delicate and sensitive skin.

My Review:

The serum is very thick. Glue-like but it’s easily extracted from the bottle via the dropper. I put one drops onto my palm and massage it gently into my skin. Surprise, surprise! No residue or sticky feeling at all. I use this day and night as well.

The most significant noticeable difference for me would be waking up to hydrated skin as opposed to very oily skin. :)

Today is Day 3 of using the serum. I don’t experience anything major yet but so far, it definitely hasn’t caused any negative reaction. :) I hope it makes my skin so hydrated that I don’t get too oily by mid-day! :)
