Happy Birthday to myself!

30th October… my birthday. I forgot it was my birthday till a friend kept going on and on about it till I remembered. And I think the BF forgot too since he asked me out for dinner on Wed, 31st Oct. Either that or he thinks today is 29th Oct. Either way, he’s toast.

So, turning a year older. That feels odd.

I wanted to find something new to wear but nah, didn’t have any. And when I was on my way to work, I had a bounce in my step. I felt a little special and wondered if people could tell someone was starting a new year of living.

Today, I leave you with this special quote which I relate to this very year.

“As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down… probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time.
