Feethaven: A massage haven for tired feet

Last week, Dennis and Wendy, siblings who run FeetHaven, invited me down to their lovely new establishment FeetHaven for a go at their foot and back massage.

Located just next to 112 Katong, FeetHaven provides traditional foot reflexology while incorporating a contemporary concept.

Check out my view from where I was sitting. It’s dimly lit and very cozy. They had aromatherapy burning, a little water feature and very comfortable leather chairs. Truly catering to everything I need to relax.

Opposite me is a shelf of an ecletic mix of hardcore books like some business strategies for Twitter, Lee Kwan Yew’s autobiography, and magazines.

Magazine-reading to me is always closely related to relaxing (cos I don’t have enough time to slow down enough to enjoy magazines in my day to day). So of course I chose the magazine and was soon engrossed in it. :P

This is my friendly massuer, Kavin. He’s huge and looks fierce but he’s actually very nice. :P When he got to my calves, that’s when I put my magazine aside to concentrate cos it was soooo painful! He said that my calf muscles are very very tight. Me, I love HARD massages. The more pain, the better. As Kavin says “no pain no gain ok!” Haha! He also pressed the back of my knee and it hurt and he said it’s indicative that my back is always aching – which is true. He said it’s ok, we’ll find out later when we do your back massage – which was equally painful.

After the whole massage, my whole body felt damnnnn good. My calves still hurt a little but it felt a lot lighter! My back was heavenly. All the knots were gone. Shiok.

If you prefer a light massage, you may also let your massuer know before you start your massage.

They have a little cute basket which lets you choose your card to show your massuer in case you shy to tell (like me. :P). They have nice nice wall of polaroids to show all the customers who have been here before. How nice.

They have very good value massage packages here which you might want to call 6344 7311 to find out more about. I nearly bought this 10+3 package (Only $21.50 for each 60 mins foot massage!!) cos it’s really a very good price but I’m still considering cos I don’t live near the east. :) I’m really thinking hard about this cos Kavin was really good. The whole service and environment all gave me a very comfortable feeling. So we’ll see.

Feet Haven is located at 136 East Coast Road (just opp 112 Katong). Do join them on Facebook for the latest promotions! :) For enquiry and appointments, please call 6344 7311.
