I’ve tried CoolSculpting on a few parts of my body before and it has always been effective in helping me lose actual inches (check out the before & after photos after I used it on my double chin). I’ve recently lost quite a bit of weight but the slight bulge on my tummy (it’s like a pouch fml!) and love handles on my hips are impossible to reduce!
I’ve done my fair share of exercise and watched my calorie intake to lose the weight that I did and yet the fats in my mid-section remains. It was pretty obvious what I needed was focused fat reduction treatment on my mid-section to really see results.

Where To Go For CoolSulpting in Singapore?
I went back to Halley Medical Aesthetics to see Dr Terence Tan for a consultation to get his advice to see how many cycles I’d need to do and how much it’d cost. I knew that Halley Medical Aesthetics in the recent year or so acquired quite a few new CoolSculpting machines and new applicators. There is no reason why I wouldn’t go back to him for CoolSculpting because with the new applicators and multiple machines, treatment time is greatly reduced.
For instance, treatment time for the traditional CoolSculpting applicator takes 60 mins but this duration is reduced to 35 mins with the CoolAdvantage applicator. The CoolAdvantage range of applicators also features an enhanced cup design for improved patient comfort as well as a larger cooling area to treat a bigger area.
Halley offers QuadSculpting as well, which is the use of four CoolSculpting machines in tandem over four non-overlapping body areas to reduce treatment time by up to 85% with the CoolAdvantage applicators.

My CoolSculpting Consultation
To prepare for the treatment, Dr. Terence Tan first used the CoolAdvantage templates to mark out the areas that required treatment.

Treatment prescribed by Dr Terence Tan:

– 8 CoolAdvantage (35 min each) applicators
– 1 CoolAdvantage Plus (45 min each) applicators
After we agreed on how many applicators I needed and which parts I was going to have it on, the whole treatment plan was planned out properly. The nine-applicator session that I was going to do took only 3 hours to complete compared to the 6 hours it would have taken if the older (legacy) applicators were used.

Here’s sharing some photos of the treatment process. The clinic assistant first applied gel pads onto the treatment area to protect the skin during treatment.
The applicator then goes on. You’d feel a strong sucking session, the area you are treating then feels very cold and after 5 mins, you’ll be used to the suction and temperature and be completely comfortable.
After each treatment cycle, the clinic assistant removed the applicator and massaged the treated area as seen in the photo below. The massage was a little uncomfortable but it is also MUCH needed because it actually offered comfort and made the treatment area feel better.
The massaging also helps to speed up the break down of the crystallised dead fat cells, which will be passed out by the body naturally. Make sure to drink heaps of water to help flush out the fats!
