Have you checked out part 1? I did promise there is a part 2! :) This time around, I decided to try out the colour eyeliners & glow tint from CLIO.
Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pastel Upper Liners are available in four cotton-candy pastel shades – lavender, mint, peach and hot pink. These glide onto your eyelids smoothly and is very pigmented.
I am usually a liquid eyeliner girl because I crave the precision achievable only through liquid liners (personally anyway). But the great thing about coloured eyeliners is how forgiving they are even if you don’t draw a very precise line.
The other very interesting product which I like a lot too is the Clio Gelpresso Glow Tint which is like a lipstick except it gives high shine, long wearing, and moisturising benefits all in one. It really should be called a Glow Stain cos the colour really stays on! I really wish it wasn’t so odd to apply though. Unlike traditional lipsticks, this applicator doesn’t allow for easy even colour distribution. It is something I can live with though.
Dara from 2NE1 is their spokesperson for these 2 products and the looks created for her are quite pretty. Inspired, I decided to try out some looks using these eyeliners and glow tint. :) For a start, I used it the easiest way, which is just to line it over my usual black eyeliner. Here’s a look:
On my upper eyelids, I have the Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pastel Upper Liners in PINK and on my lips, is the Clio Gelpresso Glow Tint in Killheel Red. The red went surprisingly well with my skin tone! I was initially afraid of red on my eyes but it sure worked out well. :)
I’m very tanned which means that I have to be very picky with colours because not every colour go well on me. Having said that, I do like how the Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pastel Upper Liners in Mint brightens up my eyes.
I look so innocent here. Haha. The Clio Gelpresso Glow Tint in Flat Pink is an unusual choice for me. Pink lipstick usually doesn’t work well but I love how this turned out. :)
