Gaia Ristorante – Restaurant Week 2014

Gaia Ristorante @ Goodwood Park Hotel is one of our picks for Restaurant Week 2014 for some Italian Food! We have decided to pick all of the places we have never been to before to check out what’s awesome. I am quite sure there are many hidden gem of a restaurant which we aren’t aware of yet. :) So last Saturday, we went to Gaia for lunch. :) It is a 4 course set costing $40++ per person. The interior…

Wooloomooloo Steakhouse – Restaurant Week 2014

I love it’s central location right at Level 3 of Swissotel. Super easy for shopping & a nice coffee at Raffles City thereafter :) So it’s Restaurant Week and we kicked it off with an awesome meal at Wooloomooloo Steakhouse. I am embarrassed to say that I haven’t heard of this place prior. But it’s never too late I guess. The 3 course set lunch we ate here was VERY GOOD. It’s still open for reservations only from 13-23 March…

Set Dinner @ Brunetti Singapore

Brunetti at Tanglin Mall is a part-alfresco Italian bistro originating from Australia. They serve all sorts of Italian Sweets, All-Day Breakfasts and other Italian main courses. Take a peek in and you’ll be distracted by the large display of their cakes, macaroons, savoury items and gelato. I spent a lot of time gawking at all the beauty. Yes, I have a sweet tooth. I wanted to order everything everything! Haha! But I have one stomach and this stomach can’t take…

Dong Po Colonial Cafe at Kandahar Street

That cafe at Kandahar Street, the one we went the other day is a quaint vintage cafe called Dong Po Colonial Cafe. This isn’t yet another hip new cafe joining the throngs we have mushrooming every other day. This cafe serves up some traditional pastries from the 50’s and 60’s in Singapore to go along with their coffee. The boss of Dong Po Colonial Cafe is Kelvin Soh. How he started the cafe was featured in some Channel 8 show sometime back.…

In Singapore alone, they have 3 outlets (B1 at The Cathay, Lvl 2 at Tampines 1 and Lvl 1 at Star Vista). We went…

Huiji Waist Tonic Review

Hello! I managed to take some time out of my busy day (and night) to share with you this Huiji Waist Tonic that I’ve been taking. Been seeing it on TV ads, and at supermarkets super frequently recently. I received a bottle to try out and review and I found it really palatable (surprisingly, because I hate most tonics).

Miam Miam @ Bugis Junction

Here’s updating with a food review today! :) You’ll be pleased to know that the newest French-Japanese Cafe called Miam Miam serves up some yummy food and is located at level 2 just outside BHG Bugis Junction! Marrying French techniques with Japanese inspired flavours, food preparation at Miam Miam follows a disciplined approach (for example, 110g of raw pasta to be cooked in boiling water for exactly 7.5 mins for that perfect al dente texture) to deliver a consistently excellent…

Chilling With Nescafe Singapore

It is always appreciated when brands go the extra mile to make their events interesting and packed with content that makes me want to share with my readers immediately. I attended Nestle’s recent launch of their new NESCAFÉ® Ready-To-Drink beverage – NESCAFÉ® Smoovlatté™, a premium bottled caffè latté that is the perfect blend of aromatic coffee and rich smooth milk which leaves a silky smooth feeling in your mouth. It was an engaging 2 hours with coffee and art jamming.…
