Acnes Creamy Wash and Sealing Jell

It’s really timely that these products came cos my little brother who is facing a lot of breakouts due to his raging teenage hormones, has been asking me for recommendations!

My Review:

Acnes Creamy Wash I do not normally have breakouts but when I do, they get real nasty. I tried the cleansing form and found it to be really refreshing though a tad dry. The subtle lime fragrance is quite the surprise too. What I really loved about this is that it lathered up really well! I think that for this product, it’s at quite good value too. Only SGD$6.90

Acnes Sealing Jell Next up, the Sealing Jell. What is this, you ask. Is it a pimple cream or… ? Well I used it on my pimples and it seems to heal the skin back, and not burn the pimple till it dries and flake off – like most conventional creams that contain lots of benzoyl peroxide.

For this treatment, the active ingredient is sulfur. Quite different from the usual ingredients used for treating acne such as salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. :)
