A night in JB on 4th June

There were jams everywhere! I wanted to go from Customs to Xtra Supermarket and the whole damn way was jam packed with cars!

I know this is a kinda late post… ah well, better late than never.

Malaysia just took away the government subsidy and raised petrol prices by a jaw-dropping 40%. From RM1.92 to RM2.70 (an additional $0.78)! Holy ABC!

So of course people rush to the petrol station to try and fill every last space in their petrol tanks! Malaysians always do that one! Haha! I remember over the years as the oil prices went up bit by bit, my dad would always go out near to midnight to go fill his tank.

That’s me at the corner! Two hands off the steering wheel and reporting live for this blog!

Long queues everywhere! At least 5-8 cars at every “pumping machine”!

A full tank used to cost RM90 and now, it is now about RM127! That’s RM37 more! A lot isn’t it?

Every damn thing also going up. That day I walked past KFC in Singapore and their usual buddy meal (2 drinks, 2 mashed potatos and 4 pcs of fried chicken) used to cost SGD $9.90 and now, NOW it suddenly went up to SGD $10.50! No announcement, nothing. Just went up.

Will we die if the oil prices keep soaring for the skies? =
