A little fantasy to travel to somewhere beyond the horizon

It is not often that one gets asked “Where in the world would you like to travel to?”

But say one day, someone comes to you and offers you this wish, where would you go?

Which country/city would you want to go?

I’ve dreamt of going to so many places so often that it has become a blur in my mind. But if I had one such wish granted to me, where would it be!

I want to be in a big city like New York, and live a little short fantasy like leading ladies in Sex and the City. I want to go to the Rockefellar Centre and see what’s all the fuss about! Oh wait, since I’m in the US, I’d love to check out Las Vegas!! :P

I want to be in a complete heaven like Bora Bora in Taihiti (sheesh, even the name sounds exotic) and have no phone reception. I want to waddle in fine white sand and blue-green clear waters. Perhaps do some swimming, some diving,… drink some coconuts… Sidetrack: Bora Bora is also the place The Bachelorette (Season with Ali) made her decision to marry Roberto. /Sidetrack!

I want to dive in a beautiful underwater world like at The Great Barrier Reef and swim with sharks, cuttlefishes, and see the macro and micro wonders that the underwater world has to offer. P.s.: do you know that over 70% of earth is covered in water, so imagine what you have not discovered just by being on land!

But having said that, I know you’re going to think my preferences are rather vast, because I am also dying to visit beautiful, picture-perfect scenic spots like Switzerland, New Zealand, Greece… And at NZ, you get to do crazy stuff like bungee jumping, black water rafting and sky diving! I want to hand-feed cows, sheeps and pick apples!

Indeed, it isn’t often one gets asked this question. :) But on a blue monday, when the work seems to be an endless threadmill that you keep running on and the distance to the next break is never visible, take a little time, and ponder this question. You never know, one day you may get asked this question and you sure as hell wouldn’t want to be stumped yeh! :P #firstworldproblems.
