A Day in My Life

Week 3 into New Job – So this is what it’s like to be a manager.

Watch. Supervise. Lead. Do more strategic stuff.

No phone calls. No nitty gritty shit to handle. No little timelines to worry about. No stupid minor changes (especially those that keep on coming) to get frustrated over.

I guess I could get used to this. It’s quite a change in job scope, honestly. But change is good. This is a step moving forward and I hope this can be my learning ground.

Looking back, week 2 of my new job took incredibly long to go by. I didn’t even feel week 1 – was too busy. This week seems a bit faster. Today’s already Tuesday. And yes! I’m holding up! =)

Now that I have begun a new job, seated down everyday in front of the computer, I long very much for the tremendous amount of walking I did in Europe. I yearn for new experiences. I miss not caring what time and what day it was – I miss having everyday feel like Saturday.

Ever since I got back from Europe, I haven’t had time for myself at all. First weekend, I went to KL to spend time with my family – mother’s day.

Second weekend (which is also last weekend), I dedicated it all to a good friend who finally got married.

Gwen, I wish Alvin and you everlasting happiness and hope you find enough love for each other to be patient and forgiving.

I can’t wait for her photos to be ready. I can then blog about the “Qiao Men” games that we 5 Jie Meis played. =) Evil but surely very memorable for the newly wedded couple.

I slept for 10 hours last night and I still feel extremly tired. So I just need to recover from this before going full steam ahead with pictures. =) Bear with me.
